Giveaway with Smyths: Squirrel Play Wooden Xylophone Tap Bench

I’m a big fan of wooden toys. There’s something about them that reminds me of a bygone era, when life was simpler, tablets were something you took for a headache, and everything was just a bit less, well, plastic.

So I was really happy when I heard about the Squirrel Play wooden toys range at Smyths. Squirrel Play toys have all been carefully designed to develop children’s motor skills, encourage their curiosity and inspire imaginative and creative play.  If you’re in the market for a well-crafted wooden toy, be it a shape sorter, a kitchen, a baby walker (or even a wooden hamburger set(!)), you might just find it in the Smyths Squirrel Play range.

If wooden toys are your thing and you’d be interested in trying a toy from this range, then you’re in luck because I have a giveaway for one lucky person to win this lovely Squirrel Play Wooden Xylophone Tap Bench.

Smyths Squirrel Play Wooden Xylophone Tap Bench
The Squirrel Play Wooden Xylophone Tap Bench helps develop fine motor skills while introducing little ones to the art of music making in a fun way. It’s aimed at age 18m+ and at £14.99, it’s good value for money.

The great thing about this lovely, brightly coloured toy is that it’s actually two toys in one. Little ones can tap the balls with the hammer, causing them to fall onto the xylophone underneath and make a lovely chiming sound as they roll down it.

If they get tired of doing that, then the xylophone can be removed from the toy, allowing little ones to make their own music (which may or may not be a good idea, depending on how ‘musical’ your child is, and how high your tolerance levels are…..).

This toy would make a lovely birthday or Christmas gift for a toddler and I know my little girl would have loved it when she was a little bit younger.

If you know a toddler who might enjoy this toy, why not enter my giveaway on Rafflecopter below? There is one Squirrel Play Wooden Xylophone Tap Bench up for grabs and full Ts & Cs are at the end of this post. Good luck!
